from shakespeare to sun records...
A lifelong theatre-obsessed mult-instrumentalist, Cody draws outside the lines of his artistic training by redefining genre, groove, and the fourth wall. From Molière to Million Dollar Quartet, he blends theatricality and musicality with his innate love for storytelling.
Cody graduated from The Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts, which launched him directly into a full-time life on the road. A proud member of Actors Equity Association for almost a decade, he joyfully found his niche in countless
Actor-Musician productions around the country.
He was last seen locally as Billy Bigelow in Carousel (Woodminster Summer Musicals), Elvis Presley in Million Dollar Quartet (San Jose Stage) and Charlie Price in Kinky Boots (Mountain Play). Add’l national credits include 6 productions of MDQ (Carl Perkins), 5 productions of Once (Guy, Andrej, Svec), and Les Miserables (Marius, Utah Shakespeare Festival).

"...an incredible singer and a wonderful guitar player. The raw emotion in his performance was stunning."

"Whether embodying these moments of near-defeating self-doubt or the eventual heights of an unlikely, glittery triumph in six-inch, red heels, Cody Craven is a Charlie Price who more than fits the shoe as designed by Fierstein and Lauper."

"truly embodied the essence of the "King of Rockabilly." His guitar skills were phenomenal, and every riff and note he played was spot on. You could feel his passion and dedication to the music, and his rendition of 'Blue Suede Shoes' brought the house down!"
